Sample Letter to Parents with Permission Form
The content of letters to inform parents about excursions is important. This information is the basis of the parental decision to give permission for the student to attend. Therefore, it must be explicit and provide accurate details to enable parents/guardians to make this decision. Permission slips should be stored in student files as proof of parental permission. The letter should be presented on official school letterhead.
This letter is a guide only, based on a sample letter from Education Queensland DOEM.
