QPAC presents Thalias Kompagnons (Germany)
The colours have been mixed, the brushes are ready, the painter stands behind the transparent canvas, ready to go.
A red spot appears and the painter asks, “What does Red do on Thursday?”. So begins a fascinating and dreamlike journey where Red transforms and moves through landscapes of flying balls, birds, fairytale-like palaces, plants and animals.
A mesmerising Australian premiere from Germany’s Thalias Kompagnons, What does Red do on Thursday? Is accompanied by a lively classical score and playfully reveals how, from the very first brushstroke, art is full of surprises and the joy of creation is a reward in itself!
