In this unique and very different kind of zoo, children come face to face with over 700 animal specimens sourced from the Museum’s world-class biodiversity collection. The exhibition includes examples of both living and extinct animals, ranging from tiny insects to big mammals, reptiles, birds, crabs and seashells. Children can size themselves up to a towering polar bear, match their jump length to a kangaroo and feel what it’s like to have a skeleton on the OUTside! And when it comes to survival of the fittest, they will learn that bigger doesn’t necessarily mean better.
