Design your own 'flutterby' - an imaginary creature inspired by the rich colours and patterns found on insects.
Children observe specimens from the jewelled world of butterflies and moths then use colour and patterns to construct their own fantastical creations. Movement and sound elements will bring the flutterby to life in the hands of their creators.
Observing the colours and patterns of insect specimens, students are inspired to make their own 'flutterby'. Movement and sound elements help flutterbys come to life.
