Using Queensland Cultural Centre Car Parks
Automatic Pay Stations
To enable free flow of traffic exiting after a performance, patrons are required to pay the parking fee of $15 at the automatic pay stations on entry to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Queensland Museum, Queensland Art Gallery, State Library of Queensland and car parks. The pay stations accept payment by cash or credit card (MasterCard and Visa) and will print receipts on request.
Cash
The pay stations will accept change, $5 notes, $10 notes, $20 notes and $50 notes only and will provide change in notes. The pay stations will not accept $100 notes.
Credit Card
Upon insertion of a credit card the $15.00 fee will be deducted, the card returned, receipts will be printed on request and the gate will then rise. During peak times of pre-performances and events, the booths will be staffed for manual operation and to assist patrons with directions and information requirements. Staff will also be available in the event of pay station equipment failure. Unfortunately, staff will be unable to provide change for the car park.
