Bookings

School group bookings are made online using the online booking form.

All paid performances and workshops need to be pre-booked. Workshops in particular tend to book out quickly, so please provide two options in case your first preference is not available. Free events do not need to be booked.

Step 1
Read your festival brochure in conjunction with Essentials for teachers - a performance and workshop guide [PDF 206KB]. Further details can be found by clicking the Teachers tab on event pages of the website. Choose the performances and/or workshops you wish to attend, ensuring you indicate two workshop preferences.

Step 2
Complete and return your online booking form.

Step 3
Check you have received your booking confirmation within 5 working days. Bookings are not confirmed until you receive this notice.

Costs

All bookings for 2010 will be made online and processed in order of receipt. Payment must be received by Friday 30 April 2010 to guarantee booking.

School Group Prices (10 students or more)
Performances: Students $16.00. One teacher free per 10 students, accompanying adults $16.00pp.
Workshops: Students $14.00. Adults observe free of charge.
Amococo: Students $8.00. One teacher free per 10 students, accompanying adults $8.00pp.
Single transaction fee $12.00 applies to each school group booking.
No refund or exchange once booking is complete and payment is received.

Please check your tickets carefully on receipt and notify qtix Box Office of any error. Program details are accurate at time of printing. QPAC reserves the right to alter programs and artists where necessary. All program durations listed are approximate.

Travel free with TransLink

Children 8 years and under who are in possession of an OOTB festival ticket will be entitled to travel free of charge on QR train services from their nominated boarding station to the OOTB Festival at South Bank. One (1) adult per seven (7) children is permitted to travel for free provided the group is pre-booked via the QR group booking officer. Travel is only valid on the day of their booking.

This offer is only available to people attending ticketed events as part of the Out of the Box Festival 2010.

How to Book

TransLink, QPAC's official transport partner is proud to once again support the Out of the Box Festival, one of the largest festivals in Queensland.

To support the many schools that attend the festival, TransLink is offering free train travel to all children 8 and under, and for every 7 children 1 adult can travel free. All you have to do is pre-book your travel through Queensland Rail Booking Office and hold an Out of the Box ticket.

To take advantage of this great offer, simply book festival tickets for your group via the online booking form and then pre-book your train travel by calling the QR Group Bookings Office on 1300 768 595 or alternatively email group.bookings@qr.com.au with your details.
